Do these guys have any real competitors?
I fucking remember this company's BIOS on my PC 25 years ago, and I still see them today, even doing BIOS/UEFI on my tablet.
They probably don't have too many competitors. Being a BIOS provider is the same kind of market niche as being a widget producer (sole company that produces X unique part only used in Y machines by Z companies). It's not sexy and there's never going to be a sudden explosion in the BIOS industry.

Would've been better to compress the font or use a condensed variant. Another option would to relax the kerning on the "American" part.
But I'm going to make a wild guess based on the fact that their logo is written in Times New Roman that they probably just didn't give a fuck
