Just moved to a new startup tech company. First software engineering job. Literally everyone uses a mac here. Is this normal? I think the user interface is shit.

You're right about the UI being shit, the window management is ass backwards (whole design philosophy is just retarded, especially the shitty dock) and the software (take finder for example) is really horrible.
