Some excellent free apps from the Windows store I like using:
1. Plumbago, basically the Microsoft Courier in an app.
2. Transcoder is an open source audio and video file converter for Windows 10
3. GDrive.NET is a third-party client for Google Drives that you can use on your phone or computer.
5. Infinity for reddit
6. Kodi.Remote lets you access and control your Kodi devices. Using the app, you can access any and all of your Kodi/XBMC devices on your local network, and the media on them.

Just use the actual google drive application
Literally too many open source, non-platform specific alternatives to even list.

i have 11 gigs of space on onedrive, very useful since i have 3 computers i need to sync files to.
Reddit is great for niche hobbies. I use it mostly for discussion threads of shit I watch.
