are you going to buy an Apple Watch now that they upgraded the hardware (new bands) and lowered the price like everyone was asking for, /g/?
What is the point. Everyone has a cell phone nowadays.
>>53679847
and nobody likes taking it out of their pocket to do shit
Does it work without having the phone close to it? The 5 feet limit on the old one was so fucking stupid I had to return it.
>>53679887
>the old one
its still the old watch they just added new bands to it
>>53679887
It's 6 feet now.
>>53679908
fuck that shit
>>53679828
Ridiculously short battery life
Ugly design
Nope. I'll stick to my traditional watch and standard smartphone.
>>53679861
Lazy nigglet. Thats like loving money but hating work.
299 US DOLLARS
299 US DOLLARS
299 US DOLLARS
>>53680017
does it come in a ben10 theme?
My analog watch cost way less, will last longer and is more exciting to look at. Oh, and it doesn't require me to pay money to a company that fucks over its users daily.
No. Fuck off, OP.
>>53680834
>ben10 theme
I'd buy that shit in a blink of an eye
Smartwatches and tablets are memes for people with lots of money to spare. Tablets are literally just dust collectors and smartwatches have no batteries and no screens.
I have a pebble classic.
I want a apple watch
Should i get one?
Apple watch would have been great if it was usable without an iPhone. Spending that much for a remote display is a non sense, however using it as a minimalist smartphone would have been great, not everyone want a bulky smartphone everyday.
>>53682800
Dude I'll trade.
I have an apple watch, it's a POS and I want a pebble.
we're fated to meet
nuig
>>53680834
Aughties kids need to gtfo.
>>53679828
They literally did nothing to improve the Watch itself.
It's dead. They're just trying to get rid of components now.
>>53684250
>its dead
Its the best selling smartwatch of all time
>>53684285
Sales have stagnated. People don't care anymore and Apple doesn't care anymore because they haven't done anything to improve the OS and battery life in months and they haven't done anything to improve the hardware.
It's dead.
>>53679828
>"smartwatch"
>useless without a smartphone
I'm not going to buy this shit. Still happy with my Pebble, because functionality > *.
>>53684285
Yes, we know Apple users are dumb fucks who love sucking on whatever dong the company shoves down their throats, thank you for clarifying this
>>53679828
>upgraded the hardware (new bands)
that's not hardware
>>53679828
>paying money for a Harvard architecture computer
>>53679828
>a phone accessory
>doesn't even stay on all the time like a classic watch
>it's just a dark screen when unused
Jeez, we are witnessing the dawning of the age of full-blown idiocracy, with the help of ads-funded media.
>>53679828
i'm considering buying one because the price has dropped... but almost everyone i know who has gotten one has either sold it or stopped wearing it.
>>53685268
just wait, you're not missing anything.. and you'll be able to pick one up on ebay for cheap once the next model comes out or they just discontinue it
no way, it's still square
men don't wear square watches
My parents bought me one for Christmas but I'll probably be selling mine soon since I'm moving away from Apple products altogether.
It's a nice toy but it doesn't really *do* anything.
>>53686831
we'll quietly ignore steve mcqueen and his heuer monaco then.
I have a Martian Notifier and its the best smartwatch on the market.
>traditional analogue watch with minimalist face
>uses a normal watch battery
>small ticker display shows all phone notifications and vibrates
>$60
best one out there.
>>53679828
How does a fitbit blaze compare to the pebble and apple smart watches?
i'll give this to them, the 42mm space gray with black woven nylon band looks nice
I know a guy with an Apple watch. He said since the latest update it restarts all the time, so when he wants to know what time it is he just pulls out his phone.
>>53687691
nope
>>53687362
Hmm... I may pick one up.
No, wristwatches are primarily male jewellery and a discreet (more polite) way to tell the time. Also a good watch can serve you for decades, consumer electronics become absolute within a few years at most. The additional features a smartwatch has over a normal wristwatch are better served by a smartphone.
Incidentally, not wearing a wristwatch at all and checking the time using a smartphone is not only less polite but also a technological step backwards to the pocket watch.
>smartwatches
Literally wearable autism.
>>53688051
*consumer electronics become obsolete within a few years at most.
no because i dont want third degree burns on my wrist
>>53686911
Steve McQueen is a fag.
>>53688314
takes one to know one
The only watch for the 21 century is the pebble anything eles is shit.
