libvorbis is mint for lossy audio though.
-q7 (VBR averaged at 224kbps) does a better job than mp3@320kbps.
Vorbis could and SHOULD be a format of choice for all services dealing with lossy audio.
And because it's royalty free and doesn't have the retarded licensing unlike MP3 there's absoutely nothing that would stop hardware/software manufacturers from supporting it.
Vorbis is quite literally the FLAC of lossy audio.
