I'm looking for a working twitter bot that I can download and fuck with. I don't use twitter myself but I figure it's a good critical thinking challenge and it would be something different from the normal scripting I do day to day. I really don't care what language it's in since the point is to learn something new. I really don't have a plan for it other than it being able to post automatically when some conditions are met. There are a lot out there and I'd like to start with something that works well so I'm not building on a poor base. I'm definitely not looking for one of those websites that you script with drop down boxes. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Nobody has experience with Twitter bots?

No, there were a ton of results. Like I said up top, I want to start with a good bot so I'm not pulling my hair out due to shitty base code. There's not a lot of qualitative info. People just push their bot and I have no point of reference.

It doesn't look like it does much besides blocking people but I'll check it out.

I saw that one earlier. People seem to like it but it's a compiled application, not a ruby/php/bash/python bot. ie I can't do anything but run and use it. I bet it works well though.

Just pick a language and library.
I used Python and Tweepy with a SQLite backend to whip up a autoposter and follower churn machine.
