Hey /g/, is there a tablet os available for the raspberry pi or no?
If there isn't, I need to write my own, and I have no idea where to start. Would be great if someone could point me in the right direction.
Kodi can be used with touch
Ubuntu Mate would also work, but not really optomised
Android isn't officialy supported, unofficial versions suck
There's a Sailfish OS build for RPi, but I've never tried them.

The official RasPi Android forum is totally fucked. The forum admins have avoided the question about their aversion towards Android and keep locking threads about it which suggests that the screw-up is deliberate and intended as a passive-aggressive way of getting people to stop asking about Android on the Pi. Even the Plan 9 forum works okay so something is definitely amiss.

Will the official version run well if I do it right and perhaps do some light tinkering if necessary? I loved using android on my old tablet, never had to google how to do anything ever. It would be nice to be able to access some linux repositories as well if possible.
