Help desk slave here. What are the best certs that can help me move up the helpdesk ladder, or get me into a net or system admin position. Thanks /g/
Just look it up. Honestly if you're not savy enough to Google it, or look for the answers, then you need to take a long look at yourself before you decide to 'move up'. Unless you're the boss's son, nobody is just going to give you a free ride to a better job. The first thing sys admins do is Google/document. If you can't do that then you're not cut out. That aside, Network+ CCNA and A+ are the only ones that are worth it and recognizable. Learn some python for scripting.

Definitely Comptia A+, Network+, CCNA, and Linux+ probably isn't a bad thing to put on a resume.
