To actually answer your question, the actual popcorntime was popcorntime.io. This was shut down because they were getting in trouble with the law. As a result, they started the butter project which is basically the same thing but instead of having the torrents listed when you download it, you have to add them manually. This allows them to work on it without catching heat from a certain moving menorah association. Last I checked there weren't binaries available for butter project, but it's open source and you can compile some yourself.
