I have a February 2015 XPS 13. It's shit.
The screen would randomly turn off until it was fixed in the 4.4 kernel which hasn't even reached stable Ubuntu yet.
The audio hardware would randomly stop working on both Linux and Windows and needed to be reset a few times in the BIOS.
The screen has an auto brightness firmware that can't be disabled. I don't mind this.
Also, the keyboard is atrocious but I don't care too much about that either.
I didn't find out that these were problems with firmware instead of the operating system until it was too late.

Some of these problems affect the new XPS 13 too.
It comes with a proprietary wifi card even though it's marketed as a Linux dev machine.
The camera is in a retarded position because they wanted you to see the Dell logo.
If I recall correctly, the battery life was marketed crazy high at 12 hours but it was 6 hours with very light usage.
The battery's life span is only 300 cycles where a Macbook Pro for the same price is 1000 cycles.

I got mine in recently. I . The screen opens 125 degrees and no further. I fucking hate this. Everything else is great, I think the "book" gap design is really smart in order to keep the keyboard from ever touching the screen when closed.
