Looks horribly inefficient
i type 110wpm with index and middle fingers for letter keys
don't feel like slowing myself down to learn a different method, even if it would be faster in the end
>Assigning the most keys to the shortest, least dexterous fingers
I do. I certainly don't use a system like this though.

This. I type 90-100 wpm depending on how cold it is and I only use my index and middle finger (even for space key). On my right hand I only use my middle finger.

it's the best way to use a keyboard
even if it looks like torture, that's how assistants are using it
>>53628068
I do, but I don't use my pinkies nearly as much.

Says who? What I type isn't a speed-typing contest anyway, but this shit would kill my pinky.

It depends on what you do with your keyboard, silly.
For example, I program a lot, which means I use all those weird punctuation symbols on the right side of the keyboard a lot; as a consequence, the way I type is modified to spread that region over a larger scope of fingers.
