I've given up on trying to cover the scratches on the sides, obviously this case was not meant to be opened often as the mechanism for opening it inherently scratches it (unless you warp the sides which I'm not about to do)

I need to redo my fans, get an mATX mobo to run my 280X Toxic Crossfire (it was free lol forgimme) and maybe look into a 240 rad AIO.

>>53629573
easily
In fact a Titan would, but you would need to get an SFX PSU (I did not plan well, which forced me to get a smaller GPU)
>>
>>53629612

Two free 280X's, they display a thumbprint size area of artifacts in some games but crash in none so they were free, a good hold-me-over for next gen Nvidia.

somewhat modded tj-07. needs a powdercoat on the internals, don't like the bare aluminum, but towards the end I just wanted to get it done.

The sag is not so bad, but the only way to fix it at the moment is to prop it up with a ruler, better solution to come.

monochrome for the win

>>
>>53636639
Yeah I wasted money on the PSU, shoulda gotten 750, I never really intend on crossfire or anything either. My logic was that if I get something I'll never need to upgrade it'll be better than having to get a new PSU in the future. oh well

PSU is a bit overkill, but excellent job on your first. Cable management is solid and you picked good parts. Rationalize your PSU in that the less percentage of total load you're using, the greater power efficiency you're getting from that 80+ gold rating.

>>53636653
What cards are you running right now?

rate my cable management

I don't see a 1050w as a waste like other people on here. You never know what you're going to do in the future. Your rig might change 2 processors and 3 cards and add 6HDDs or some thing before the PSU dies.

that case is just too big for your build. LEDs are a bit bright as well 8/10

4/10, ugly as fuck. This is when hiding-in-plain sight cables go wrong

Dead flowers and empty cans along with the minimalist approach, I don't see how it can be topped.

>>53641476
Cases are bloat, the dead flowers are for the aesthetic and the beer is to full the void

it isn't exactly small.... what isn't in frame is a quad 120mm radiator across the bottom.

It mostly a lenovo m93p SFF. I just picked up the NVS 310 and some cheap gaming ram for it. Been meaning to get 2 more sticks but its not a big deal.

cool. 10gb of ram is wierd though, I'm guessing two 4gb sticks and two 1gb sticks?

Yah I believe it was a 4gb system before and the owner before me decided sector 5 patriot ram was a viable option.

2 questions:
What's the use of a case if it doesn't provide full coverage
How much did you pay for steel beams?

Looks freaking awesome though.
>>
>>53638182
Nice. Make a case for it though
>>
>>53644355
>seriously though, the fuck is up with the red paint
Done that with some old, beyond its expiry date (which was at least a year or two ago) red car spray can. I have to spray blue the rest of the case, but in no way I am covering those stains inside it.

>and use some cable ties dude

Don't have any. I'd have to tidy up my cables using cut up and exposed copper CAT5e wire. The only one I've done properly was a DDR400 P4 machine (on the same CPU socket, except 865PE chipset and AGP (duh) ) but that one came with them already,it was just a matter of repositioning them to my liking.

Why so many SSDs
Did you buy a small one and then get more moeny and then buy another small one then get more money and buy another small one
>>
>>53646058
From top to bottom was the ssd's I bought. 120gb, 250gb, 500gb.

The 120gb I bought when ssds were like $0.90 per GB. The 250gb I got for $150.

Then bought the 500gb for $170. When 1TB/2TB ssds come down in to the $200 range, I'll probably replace them. Maybe not. who knows.
>>
>>53646006
cool. Why such small fans on the Heatsink though?
>>
>>53646093
>>53646006
I want to get another SSD just for muh gaymes but I was wondering if two WD blacks in Raid would be more reliable?
>>
>>53646180
They look small because of how large the tower sinks are. Cooler is a ThermalTake Frio Extreme. Comes with 2x140mm fans but they have 120mm mounting holes. The fans were loud and inefficient. The fans are now 120mm Cooler Master Silencio PWM.

Thinking of buying a Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3, or Noctua NH-D15 because the way the fans attach to the sink use metal clips that sit inside the heatsink themselves. Fans occasionally make vibrating noise because they rattle against the metal.
>>
>>53646203
Assuming you're using Windows 7 to form the RAID 0? It should be reliable but there is always the chance the array may crash, you'll lose everything, and have to re-install. Even with 2 7,200rpm drives in RAID 0 are hard pressed to catch up to an SSD for load times.

If money is an issue, 2 mech drives in RAID 0 will offer more space in and decent speed for the price. Otherwise get an ssd.
>>
>>53646269
That makes sense. Noctua is really nice but poo fans, Be Quiet is nice but a tad over priced
