I dunno why its such a big deal. If i want more power i just use my desktop, my quad core i7 laptop, or a server.
My laptop is a Q6600, and my laptop is a core 2 Duo, and they still are plenty for my needs, fuck Apple, I seriously cannot believe they are trying to spin a 5yo PC and getting your money's worth from a machine as a bad thing.
