I'm trying to find a .txt file in one of my friend's website's, and it's around 3 directories deep. I'm not sure how to search for them.

OP here,
he has a page that is a directory with a lot of files, but his main page is a 404, so you can't go back to the parent directory from that page. Not sure what to do.

Search up directory traversal attacks.

BTW, do you know the servers specs? Is he expecting an attack?
If so just run a VEGA scan and post the results here.

Use freedownloadmanager. Go to the spider tab then download website, deep 3, filter text files.
