What does /g/ think is the most significant version of Android since 1.0?
Lollipop was the most significant change aesthetically

This. Material design might be a meme here, but it genuinely isn't bad. Also checked

>children don't remember ICS
I think that Lollipop looks way better but ICS was the first time people really started taking the platform seriously compared to iOS.

I like kit kats, so I'll say kit kat for no other reason.
>>53599126
Yep. Ics completely upped the game. Apple suddenly had a fight on its hands because androids now looked aesthetically pleasing while having hardware that was rapidly beating them at all price points. Android was also less restrictive back then. I really miss being able to access and write to the file system directly. MTP is bullshit and slow even on the fastest hand sets.
>>53598867
The one where they fix the lag-
Oh.
>>53599352
God I hate MTP. It forced me to start using bittorrent sync instead of ever plugging in to transfer files.
>>53599730
so KitKat?
>>53598867
N. Because they finally fixed the drop-down toggles they fucked up in L.
>>53599352
>>53599851
Why is mtp so fucking slow?
Fuccccccccck
>Using mtp to transfer files
>not using pic related instead
16gb flash drive with one end as USB 3.0 and the other as micro-usb
Ayy

>USB-C
>nothing is compatible

>>53600034
>fell for the USB-C meme
I would probably go for USB a few years from now
I feel sorry for you m8
>>53600034
He said USB 3.0, not Type C you fucktard. I know the two sound similar, but protip, one is a number, the other a letter
>>53600003
That's no use for internal memory. USB 3 in my note 3 still gets 70 MB/s which is exactly twice everything else in usb. 0 gets but still the phone has to work hard during mtp and this causes lag.
>>53600096
no I mean I have USB-C and nothing is compatible with my phone
>>53600130
Ahh, I apologize. My bad anon

That one that doesn't lag.
What's it called?
>>53599010
It became an usable OS at 4.4
>>53602427
This. With that said, I'm really excited for N as it looks to be the version that refines the OS like 2.3 and 4.4 did.
