You should uninstall the google glass and smart wear parts
cant you just download the sdk and use IDE of your choice + adb

The sdk itself is 20GB and android studio seems to be the best.
The recommended location is in my home folder which takes a huge chunk of my SSD space so I may have to move my home folder or symlink the SDK
