Here's a tiny tip for if you're new to this!
If you don't use the menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc.) then try disabling it in the terminal's settings. It may look nicer!
Gnome 3 is very nice, other choices are fine too if you like them.

Also, I will be getting a rare Icelandic pre-release Macintosh disk by e-mail today that has a strange 'Boston' font attached. Get ready.
Furthermore, I found /another/ version of Chicago on the Sony 6.9 Mac system pre-release (which itself is differentiated from the already strange Twiggy Chicago) last night..
trying to figure out how to extract the resource fork from the disk image, as the export-fl vmac programs obviously doesn't work...
the fact that a custom Twiggy ROM and 128k version of minivmac exist on the internet at all is astounding..
for some reason only the windows version of mini vmac 128k runs correctly..
