Any recommendation on textbooks to learn how to do DSP?
>>53589473
Wikipedia is extremely shallow

The Sedgewick book isn't even an algorithms textbook
>>53589608
It's a 'CS' algorithms textbook. CLRS is a 'SE' algorithms cookbook.
>>53591147
It's a book about analyzing them. It doesn't cover algorithms.
>>53589506
We used Sipser's book, what's wrong with it?
>>53591253
exactly

It would be cool to know what this "median-of-3 quicksort" you're analyzing actually is
>>53591346
>median-of-3 quicksort
A quicksort where you pick 3 points for the pivot and use the middle value. You don't even have to look it up, it's right there in the name.
CLRS in a class that focused almost entirely on analysis. I think I've done more difficult math in that class than in any math course I've taken
>>53591970
That is profoundly sad

that one

That algorithms book on the left. I had to use that because my professor made that book. He was a dam good professor and we didn't even really need to use the book but that book was alrght
>>53589379
is this a bait post?
>>53591882
Because everyone know what quicksort is from birth.

I'll sort you quick
with a punch to your knob, lad
None.
I could pass our single algorithms & data-structure class by memorizing 45 questions.
I am in enterprise development which is about practical skills to pass the job interview and later about bullshitting and evasion of difficult work to keep your job (^:
