mkfs.ntfs /dev/sdXp1

where X is your USB device letter (a/b/c/...) and ntfs can be replaced by others if you don't use it on windows

>and mount an iso

mkdir /mnt/myISO
mount Z.iso /mnt/myISO

where Z is your ISO file
