So accurate on multiple levels. Even with more user friendly first is I noticed this:

>we're such a helpful community, us Linux forum folks!
Asks question that wasn't adequately addressed by searching.
>What a fucking casual! Try using the search function. You should know this shit already! Git gud, it's so easy I got it right after I dedicated my life to this distro.

That said, I kind of like Linux. I'd run it if it weren't for gaymen.

>Things none of which are actually Microsoft's real business.
Microsoft makes money with corporate solutions. Not to say that losing the things you mentioned would not hurt but they're not that big of a deal especially opening the source and supporting linux stuff. Additionally people still wants to use their terrible OS.

>Additionally people still wants to use their terrible OS.
They don't want to use microsoft software.
They are forced to use microsoft software.
Those are two different things. I spend a lot of time with people that don't give a shit about /g/ stuff. But with the windows 10 bullshit, you can't imagine how microsoft were wrong this time. Most of my friends had trouble with the upgrade to windows 10, were scared of the spying issues etc. More than windows 10, in general, people are tired of having a slow computer that freeze / crash for no good reason, having to deal with viruses, etc.
You don't have those issues with a linux based OS, but
1- people don't know it (even by name, people just don't give a shit about those stuff)
2- People have to use it for specific softwares (itunes, skype, ms office, games) and they often doesn't want to use something different, even if it's better.

None of the people i know wants to keep using this garbage. People don't like microsoft.
>>
>>53606284
this

no one actually likes windows they just use it

microsoft is far from the what the market leader should be and it's really quite shameful
