I'd recommend you invest in something that can discharge the batteries to test their true capacity. A fake battery would have significantly less than the rated capacity.

Pic related is the one I'm using, from liitokala. They're pretty cheap for what you get and a solid investment if you're going to play with batteries
>>
>>53559698
Test how much you get out of the batteries on discharge after charging them fully at like 1-2A.

And done, all in all a pretty decent set considering I got it a 70% discount on the rrp! It was missing all of the flat 1 stud sized pieces and 2 4 stud thick pieces, but I didn't need those to finish the kit. Also the technic pieces aren't perfect and the colours in the manual are a bit washed out so it could be hard to tell the difference between certain colours. And lastly the launchers don't work, but I don't really care about that as I'm not gonna play with it, just display it.

Gonna message the seller tomorrow and see if they will send me the missing pieces or maybe give me a discount on another set as I have my eye on the First Order Tie Fighter set.

Accidentally posted in the old thread.
I've been considering buying the Teclast x98 pro, but curious about other people's experience with these Chinese tablets.
From the pastebin, the x98 seems to be the best available tablet for what I'm looking for, but I might be wrong. Mainly looking for stylus, high PPI /resolution display, and a good battery that will last a full day.

I'll mainly be using this for drawing, so having the pressure-sensitive stylus is important, but I'll also be using it for taking notes in class.

Is the Teclast x98 pro a ripoff, how's the quality, etc. etc.?

Diffuse light from LEDs is now a PITA. The white light on your link is probably a single T6, maybe 2000lm and highly directional, not a lantern. The red is the lantern part. In terms of white light as well get a multi T6 flashlight for the same price.

There is also things like http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Promotion-Portable-60-LED-Camping-Outdoor-Light-Rechargeable-Tent-Umbrella-Night-Lamp-3-Lighting-Modes/32579087029.html

Don't think you can use an active stylus with the x98 pro iirc, you probably want the Cube i7 stylus, although it is a bit more expensive.

>>
>>53561989
>Cube i7 stylus
Hmm, that looks pretty appetizing. The only downside is the screen, I've been dying to get my hands on a 'retina' display for a while now.

Not having an active stylus is a dealbreaker on the x98, though. I noticed that somebody had asked if it could use a stylus in the question section on gearbest, I just assumed it worked with an active. That's a bit of a shame.

I'll look around and see if I can find anything similar to the cube i7 stylus with a higher resolution display.

Thanks for the suggestion

I specifically said that he *wouldn't* have cared either way.
It just seems bizarre to rename a general to avoid offending a racial minority, but keep all of the threads other 'political incorrectnesses' intact.
I mean, there is fucking homophobia in the OP.

My belief is that you go all the way, or don't bother at all. Because at the moment, neither 'groups' would be satisfied. Traditional /g/posters are upset at the SJW direction the thread is taking, but SJWs would be upset that it isn't nearly politically correct yet.

>>
I've been thinking of getting a bicycle computer lately and this thread's pastebin recommending the BoGeer YT-816 (or 833) has got me thinking more about it.

Does anyone know whether the precision is very high? I have a smartphone and I figure something like max/average speed should be trackable with my smartphone and an app, but I don't want to pay a monthly fee for that shit (Strava and others are all technically free, but you need to pay for lots of random shit).
>>
>>53565172
Even worse.
I tried 2 ultrafires. 1200mAh and 700mAh despite the massive mAh label.

Also got 2 trustfires though, genuine cells, surprisingly decent. 5/7 would buy again.

Most my laptop pulls tend to hold between 1800 and 2200 mAh.

You're better off buying a Monoprice than a Huion in my opinion. You can get a Monoprice tablet with a 10x6.25" drawing area (fucking hueg) for around $50, depending on where you get it. A comparable Huion H610 is slightly more expensive.

For all I know they have the exact same internals, but personally I would buy the Monoprice one for the warranty.

Lots of Russian exhibitionist on Aliexpress. Just search for "erotic", "crotchless", "bra" or keywords like that, then click the checkmark for reviews with pics only.

Aliexpress also has the uncompressed pics uploaded from those (mostly anonymous) Russian reviewers. instead of just right clicking and saving, right click to open in a new tab and then save that picture.

The picture you see on Aliexpress by default is a compressed thumbnail that's about 250 px long. So you should always save the full size pic by opening them in a new tab.

not worth it unless you're a musician wanting to record or have some other professional reason for wanting a decent microphone.

if it's just for voicechat or the occasional voiceover, the $1 lapel mics are excellent.

takstars don't deserve to be in the wiki. They've been outclassed by many other headphones in the same price range for years now.

If you want very cheap headphones that sound good and last for years, just get the JVC S400 for $24 and buy some larger earpads from aliexpress to make them comfy.
Personally I have the very similar S500 and they're one of the few pairs of headphones or IEMs that hasn't broken on me with continuous use. Have had mine for almost 4 years now.

Otherwise there are plenty of excellent IEMs from China that don't break the bank

This is the same type of human who thinks watching LinusTechTips makes him a "tech expert"

Any of you guys ordered endoscope? I'd like to have one for motorcycle maintenance. Any recommendations?
>>
>>53569940
Oh, thanks... Sorry if it was posted in the wrong board.
>>
>>53569975
You didn't, but /diy/ is way better to get such specialized inquiry answered.
>>
>>53569940
Holy shit, those niggers recommend some expensive shit, I would totally recommend getting one of those chinese clones that cost $200 to get into such world, like:

The cheap "720p" ones are pretty much useless. Their video quality is so horrible.
>>
>>53570050
That's why you don't buy this kind of shit without looking at reviews with pics.
>>
To anyone who has a Ruizu X02, is the battery even half as good as they claim? Is the UI usable at all? Those chink mp3 players often have horrible menus.

I'm looking for a new one because the battery on my rockboxed sansa fuze is dying fast. It's also barely hanging together after six years of being thrown around.

Any good bongs on aliexpress?

I want to give it to a stoner friend
>>
>>53569963
Besides checking out cylinder bore condition what else could you do with an endoscope re: engine repair/maintenance?
>>
>>53567248
Where's chinese shit general?

Honestly, I found this when it was Chinese shit. Chink shit doesn't stand out to me.

Out of the options given, I like chink shit the best.

came for the tech and got the girl.
Cool.

/g/ is there any tech that is china shit that I need to buy? Like is on that thinkpad level of autism that you must have?
>>
>>53569963
I got a 5.5mm one that was supposed to be Android compatible, but it does not work on my S3. The video quality is not that great and it's pretty laggy in low light environments. Maybe more expensive ones are better.

They're not aluminium, you can easily test it at home and see.

How do you use the Alix link shortener?

s.aliexpress etc....

Dhgate has pipes. Look up "glass recyclers. I have the "fabrege egg" and it hits better than any bong I've ever had.

since it's one of the few link shorteners passing 4chan's spam filter I was curious.

Most phones are functional MP3 players nmow, and have a support for a large list.

The Ruizi ones are nice if you just want the music and not shit battery, though.

That's the second one. Why's this one going to be deleted?

Also, check your nametag.
>>
>>53572002

First one got deleted because the janitors dont know what SFW means.
>>
>>53566115
I did.
It died within minutes of me getting it (my fault though --I ran it on a 12v power supply without realising).

Everything about it seemed alles-in-ordnung.
Got another one on the way (which I'll be more careful with).
