how the fuck do I decide what active speakers to buy for music if I have ~$350 dollars to spend on it? (yurop options only)
I never catch the speakers general before 404, and /hpg/ never really offer any help they just keep telling me to get headphoes, but I don't need fucking headphones..
and everytime I ask what should I buy it's either
>get this studio monitor mang, its the best
>OMG WHAT THE FUCK DONT GET A STUDIO MONITOR, ITS NOT FOR MUSIC
>not for music? lmao what the fuck are you stupid or something? listen op, get these monitors, you wont regret it!
>2010+6 -> getting studio monitors for music -> falling for the biggest /g/ meme -> ishiggy
>nice memeing you fucktard
googling doesn't help either, because everyone seems to recommend random shit nobody else ever recommends
what the fuck do I do?
so far, after 1 month of researching and asking various boards multiple times I came to the conclusion that the best deal I can get is buying an Audioengine A5+, but I'm still unsure about it

look at the freq response, I don't know how to measure desktop speakers/monitors for lower bass/higher treble, but lower freq like 18-50hz is good I think
>>53546025
A5+ has a flat freq response as far as I know
and people say it's a bit overpowered for a small room
>>53546037
not really, kinda overpriced like all audio engine speakers
>>53546066
so what the fuck do I buy then in this price range?
>>53546077
a good 2.0 and a amp
>>53546267
>a good 2.0
such as?
>>53546388
Elac b5
>>53546025
you should just kill yourself if you think your experience with headphones does relate with room acoustics of speakers
>>53546563
i'd recommend this aswell. it's fairly new and reasonably priced. just match it with a good amp like the NADC316BEE and you won't upgrade in a long run. opting for a cheaper amp will degrade your dynamics.

or the Magnat MA 400

well which is why I said "I don't know how to measure desktop speakers/monitors" you rudey poo
