If money isn't an object then buy the latest option and select the 4k option. If you want better battery life and higher fps on 1080p, don't get the 4k.

4k is just double the amount of vertical and horizontal pixels of 1080p, that's easy math for the display drivers to handle so there shouldn't be any scaling issues.

Just scale the entire screen 200 percent and it won't be a problem. I have a 4K Windows laptop and everything just werks at 200 percent.

Anyway, it's a good laptop. I don't know how much more anyone can tell you. The specs are there. Things like the keyboard or webcam placement are pretty subjective. Go mess around with one in a store. Be your own man, make some decisions.
