Why would I get such cheap crappy cables? I won't buy a cable for less than 1k dollars.
To be fair, it took more effort and expertise to produce it than it takes to grow an ounce of weed... I guess.
Analogue cables aren't a meme.
Of course, when you start spending serious money you will get diminishing returns but there is a difference.

If you have to question the price, the you obviously don't have the ear to properly appreciate the results of a quality product.
The problem is not that it is expensive, the problem is that people actually buy it.
