Why are you so afraid of the command line, /g?/ Are you that autistic?

The GUI, mouse included, was originally designed for advanced users who were sick and fucking tired of typing line addresses into ed, typing ls every five minutes, and writing ten million shell aliases

Home computers for little kids and normies had CLIs because that's all they could figure out how to use anyways

>tell the computer "videogame" to play the videogame
>quit the game to go back to computer

compare this to using a mac

>triple finger swipe up and tap on the box labeled "video games", then tap on the video game and mouse over the expansion icon (which is green and doesn't have an icon until you mouse over it) and then click on it to enter full screen
>you can move the cursor to the top of the screen to re-show the controls and status bar or triple-swipe left and right to other virtual screens
>if you want to access the video game quicker, do step one, but instead of just tapping on the video game, tap and gold, then drag it to the rectangular thing we call a dock'
>>
Would you rather order a delicious hamburger at McDonald's by interacting with a cashier as usual, or by using one of these new terminals where you can just push some buttons and swipe your card, and don't need to talk to anyone?
>>
CLI is great for scripting or basic use. Anything inbetween is hell.

Ideally you want CLIs but with a GUI interface, so you can choose both.

Guis are more productive usually m8, cli is only rarely the better option

Pick one.
>>
>>53479178
I know we call eachother autistic all the time here, but this is actual autism well and alive.
>>
>>53479332
You can pick two there, moron
Hamburger and McDonalds goes together
>>
>>53479178
what about:
>cd vi, tab, enter and a script that outputs the content of the directory you just entered into?
Even if you don't type fast this is faster moving the mouse and clicking stuff

Emacs is all you'll ever need, anon.
Make it your login shell and forget about those other false prophets.
