That way, left handed and right handed can navigate, perform two navigation gestures at once (which could change the way apps are developed) or could play games just cause.
Games wouldn't need face buttons like a controller because you have an entire fucking keyboard, just layout some of the keys with spacing like a controller and everyone is happy to do everything they want with that phone.

I just want something rugged, 3~4 day battery life, 4.7" screen, and full size SD card slot. Other specs don't matter much to me other than using the extra thickness for good camera optics and having powerful antennas for when I'm not in good coverage areas.

I miss having external ones. If I'm in an area where the LTE is weak, I have to hold the thing just right otherwise it kicks me down to 3G. Mostly Sprint's fault for having a shitty network, but the phone manufacturers could do their part too.

LTE has horrible range, I live in big euro city and base station is like few hundred meters away and still have areas in my flat where signal is one bar.
Even with line of sight as soon as you leave immediate vicinity of bts you wont get full bars signal.
Phones also doesn't help, antenna gain is actually negative value on modern units.

Higher gain antennas would give even more battery life too now that I think about it. Less amplification for the same transmit and receive. But nope, consumers want featureless rectangles.
