Gonemad is the only one that handles compilations correctly. That said it still has flaws and the lack of a good music player is a big reading I'm going back to iOS when the SE is released.

I use the HTC player. Looks good, but ignore the top because it's my wallpaper. You can really make it any color I believe.

GoneMAD any day. Switched from Poweramp and will never look back.
MortPlayer because it's one of the few that lets you navigate by folder instead of just lumping everything together and sorting based on metadata.
I use Poweramp and I'm pretty happy paid app tho I had a play store gift card so o figured why not
