Will this phone be one to be remembered?
For not having a mSD slot? Yes.
Still using mine since release. Easily one of the best.
If there existed a Nexus5 with an SD slot, I'd be in fucking heaven.
>2300 mah battery on a 1080p phone
No.
>>53432643
if only it wasnt android..
>>53432685
This. Still using and will keep using mine for many years to come. I have a dedicated pmp for music and tablet for chinese cartoons.
No, this will be remembered.
>>53432667
no one cares tripfag. filtered.
>>53432643
I'm still using mine and will probably keep on using it for a good while longer as I see no reason to "upgrade."
>>53432643
I thought the left phone had a huge thick battery from the thumbnail, I'm disappointed now...
>>53432643
For having the worst battery life? Yes.
Thats not the nexus 6p
I bought it pretty early on and the mic finally gave out. Common problem that I actually fixed by sticking some post it notes inside phone back. Still, too janky so I moved on.
I've now decided it is the perfect form factor.

this
>>53432643
Yes.
>posted from my Nexus 5
>>53432667
Pretty much this. I immediately know to avoid a phone if it has "nexus" anywhere in its name. Pretty convenient to be honest.
>>53432667
This. A phone that doesn't have an sd card slot can't claim to be the best phone.
5P at €309 is a steal amirite? 16GB though, don't need much more
>>53432643
i literally just bought one of these manufacturer refurbished for $140. i fucking love it
>>53432853
>>53433180
the fuck are you talking about?
>>53433650
That's iphone tier battery life right there, lel.
Im surprised at its toughness. Ive dropped mine at least 5 times and slept over it (with the consequent overheating and pressure over the screen) countless time. Ive even left it on my burning hot car dashboard.
>>53433676
maybe it's because every phone i've ever owned hasn't had a battery that's lasted more than 8 hours at a time, but i'm actually pretty happy with these battery stats. meh
>>53433677
Same, I've owned one since near release. I'm pretty reckless with it at this point and I've dropped it countless times. The only noticeable damage is a few hairline cracks in the plastic near the volume rocker, SIM card slot, top microphone, and audio jack and dents around the bezel. Surprisingly no screen damage.
>>53432643
I had it but changed, why ?
no mSD slot
no removable battery
small battery capacity
I had to change because my battery died and of course you have to send it back to get it changed but my warranty expired long before
I bought it when it was released and it died 1 month ago
>>53433650
I've got a LG G4, battery can last up to 2.5 days
I can charge it from 0 to 100% in ~1h30
I had a N5 before, got really disappointed
i hope the 6p is better built cause i'm interested in one and my nexus 5 has had enough hardware probs with the power button to brick/bootloop the phone permanently
>>53435883
>LGG4
Just sent mine in for warantee... phone overheated while driving and bootlooped.
Keep another phone handy, takes 2 weeks to get it back.
>>53432643
yes
The smartshit market went stale around the time when this phone released
Besides battery life there really isn't a reason to upgrade from it
>>53433359
>buying android that isn't Nexus
Haha no thanks
Rather not be using irrelevant bloated shitware that gets forgotten right after release
Ugh, when will Sony make a Nexus device? I like their design standards.
Have been using mine since I got it shortly after release date. Case on it since day 1 and the hardware is doing fine besides the battery. Best price to performance ratio on the market. The IPS+ panel looks better than AMOLED imo, especially outside.
Don't see upgrading to be worth it.
Do wish Sony would make a Nexus but that's probably not going to happen because of their hardware costs
How does the Nexus 5X compare to this?
What are some GOAT smartphones? I think you can add
>moto g 1st edition
>iphone 5s
>galaxy s4

Are you from the US and/or did you buy the US version?
My note 2 with CM11 4.4.4 kitkat and Fucking chainz will be Rememebered forever
>>53432928
For having a dodgy power button and trackball.
>>53432643
I think so. It made compromises, but it defined the budget flagship category that is all the rage today.
I loved mine and wish it didn't die - a dodgy micro USB port was the culprit. I tried to replace the board on which is placed, but that also contains the mic and the replacement parts I tried all had terrible mics, nobody could hear me
>>53438020
yes
>>53438063
what was stopping you for buying a broken one for cheap and using those parts? I've seen them go for 30USD broken
>>53438081
Yes to both? So you got a warranty with it as well?
Does it overheat or get warm randomly doing menial tasks?
Does your camera have that weird blurring around the edges of the photographs?
>>53438508
>Yes to both? So you got a warranty with it as well?
Yes to both. Sorry for being brief. I haven't had any heat issues.
>burning around the edges
no. the software is total shit though. Takes forever to focus.
Must have gotten lucky with a good batch of devices I suppose
>>53433650
How?
t. N5 owner who gets 4.5 hours screen on max
>>53438565
Greenify hibernating everything, brightness turned down, and I'm running the elementalx kernel. I dunno how accurate these are, but I've definitely got well over 24 hours on a single charge
