I just switched to an honor 5x. My LG volt lasted me a day and a half when I first got it. A year and a half later it only lasted me about a whole day. With constant usage it would last me about 4-5 hours. There's really nothing you can do but have a better charger and get a second battery. From 0 to 100 took me about an hour. I only ever charged my phone when it was around 5 percent. Batteries deteriorate faster when you constantly charge them when they still have plenty of juice left. Either way, capacity will never be 100% after the first charge. You can only slow the rate of deterioration.

The latest 6.0 nightly fixed some wifi issues draining the battery even when it was off (no, it wasn't that google botnet option), it only lasted like half a day that way.
