The Raspberry Pi 3 is 64 bits, but what does that mean? Can it run 64 bits apps like a N64 emulator now?
the rpi2 could already emulate n64 games, you stupid fucking idiot.
It's 64 bit as in amd64? How is that even possible? Wouldn't it be slow as fuck on that small processor?

>implying amd64 isn't slow on any processor
Intel won, I drink your milkshake, get over it.

It's not true 64 bit.
It's 4 16 bit cores, which add up to allow it to execute 64 bit extensions through all 4 threads.
Just like how 8 thread i7 and fx processors can execute 256bit code, because they're using 32 bit cores.

It menas nothing because it lacks memory.

Makes sense. Thanks.

>>53321587
Jesus this better be bait.
>>53324079
Why?
It honestly makes sense.
4 times 16 is 64 and 8 times 32 is 256
There's no such thing as a 16-bit ARM core.
>>53325122
Armv8 is 16 bit compatible and uses 16 bit instructions
>>53321460
haha
>>53321460
>>53321572
No.
>>53321460
Unfortunately not, the N64 used a secondary "Reality Coprocessor". The RPi3 has no such coprocessor.
>>53325076
Odroid C2 was announced on same day. Only $5 but more than double benchmark speeds. Just ordered one for media center/6th generation emulation.
>>53325538
That benchmark compares to rPi 2, not 3.
i don't know whose b8ing who anymore

No, as in AArch64.

enjoy your non-mainline 3.1.x-kernel with proprietary closed-source driver-blobs.
