Does USB C break as easily as micro USBs?
>>53320013
No. It's a properly designed connector. Just looking at the shape of it, it should be a fairly strong connector.

I've actually never seen a broken Micro USB. What kind of shitty cheap cables does OP buy?

I've bought cables from 3 dollars to 15 dollars. They all break at some point in time.
>>53320069
this, though I've had the wires die fairly often in mobile settings.

They aren't broken as much as they get loose.

this. i've broken old sata but those are shitty stiff plastic that run through many heating cooling cycles
>>53320069
i've been using micro usbs for years and never broken one either. How rough can one be on a cable?
I mean, I can see the wire breaking but not the actual connector.
>>53320169
i just imagine a really fat guy yanking the cable down and snapping the connector right off
'MUMMY, MY CABLE BROKE, LETS SUE THESE GUISE STOOPID MINI USB'
>>53320190
I imagine my mother shoving the cable into her tiny purse without coiling it properly, then shoving that purse into the side door of a car.
Nothing breaks as easily as micro USB. USB type C is god compared to it.

what is with middle aged women and having no idea how to take care of technology
i find my fucking laptop cord literally underneath a chair leg sometimes, and it was never anywhere near said chair. It's weird as hell.

The main complaint about micro-usb cables is the little clips that are supposed to hold it in place get broken easily. And they do come loose easily.
I've had several cables that lost those connectors and fall out of my phone. Though, most of these are the ones you get for 50 cents a pop on monoprice.

My original S3 usb cable is still working, same as an old nokia micro usb cable, what the fuck are you doing fat hands?
>>53320995
Pic related, the fucking plastic covering the cable fell off before the connector breaking or getting lose, working perfectly fine after almost 10 years.
>>53320995
My xperia x10i cable from Sony still works.
>>53321093
the cable is not for chewing, I think that was clear
>>53320069
My HTC Inspire micro USB cable broke after a year and a few months.
I got some shitty $2 micro USB cables from Frys that broke in a few months.
My Samsung cables have stayed intact.
>>53320130
Also they're typically only rated for something like 20-30 insertions.
>>53320013
i hope so, i've never broken a micro-b connector
