I had to disable a specific option then figure out which was the boot menu option.
Not to mention for some reason the dvd with the W7 iso mounted by rufus didn't boot but the usb mounted by the same program did.
Also fuck deluge for literally not starting the iso download so i had to use halite for some reason

I'm currently trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on a brand-new SSD. I have UEFI.
I'm using Rufus to write the iso file (official MSDN hash) to a USB 2 drive.
I receive the following error when trying to start the installation:

Things I've tried so far:
- disable/enable fast boot
- disable/enable secure boot
- change from USB 3 to USB 2 port
- pick UEFI GPT in Rufus
- pick UEFI MBR in Rufus
It's so laughable. I'm just trying to install this fucking piece of shit.

I had the same problem. Your 3.0 USB drivers won't fall back. Try legacy options in the uefi. I just hooked up a DVD drive temporarily to get it to install.
