It had everything he needed; some cat 5e cable, some rj45 connectors, some wire cutters, and a crimper, and he stared at me like I had three heads or some shit. Like Christ, just fucking GOOGLE how to make a patch cable if you're iffy on the strand order.

Even then, it was wasn't that he didn't want to make a patch cable, it was that he didn't think to bring one, and DIDN'T EVEN KNOW how to make one himself. Wiring up an rj45 connection is some of the most basic tech shit out there.
