How reliable are these DDR4 sticks?

>Corsair 16GB DDR4 3000Mhz CL15
> 1.35V

Isn't that a little bit too much?

WHATEVER IT TAKES CMON

They trade frequency for timing. Should have no issue.
>>
>>53277092
I meant the voltage.

1.35V is way too high for memory.
>>
>>53277032
Welp, reverse searches provided nothing. May you share the source, if possible?
>>
>>53277032
The velocidensity of the flux capacitor is awful on those. Buy Kingston.

stupid question

Are you kidding me? Standard DDR3 used to run 1.5V.

Haswell-e/Skylake only support up to 2133mhz. Friendo. Get something with a lower case rating and stop falling for the meme. DDR4 already has double bandwidth and double memory capacity. Your computer literally can't support 2666 let alone 3000mhz.

Fucking god.

It's called over clocking, dumbass. All mobos can do it now.
>>
>>53278605
>All mobos can do it now
No they can't.

And it causes instability. I use 2666mhz RAM with my 5820K and the only way I can keep it stable is to keep the voltage on automatic. Otherwise it will invariably cause system instability depending on how heavy of a task I'm using.
>>
>>53278672
Haswell has a shitty memory controller, it's well documented. I'm on 2800mhz with a 6600k. Literally one click in my uefi. Probably your RAM is not that great at those speeds.
>>
>>53278851
Designed for 2666mhz use. Skylake doesn't support the workload I need. Muh 6 cores is minimum without opting for a Xeon
>>
>>53278861
Haswell still has the blck tied in with the whole system, right? There's your instability problem. Skylake has separate blck allowing better over clock. And remember, x99 is a very small minority of RAM purchased these days. 3k RAM is not for haswell.

This is because of statements like this that I think /g/ is populated by Engadget-reading teenagers.
>>
>>53278993
Sorry to call you out on your limited knowledge about why high MHz won't work with haswell. X99 is only for a limited minority of people. It's an "enthusiast" platform. 100 series Intel CPUs far far outnumber x99 users now.

You're a fucking dumbass. Haswell can only "officially" support 1600MHz RAM, yet my 2133MHz sticks work just fine with my 4790K. Speeds of well beyond 3000MHz are easy with Skylake and its better memory controller. In fact, memory manufacturers are now pushing through the 4000MHz barrier.

You also don't seem to understand how CAS latency works or its relation to clock speed, so I'm going to invite you to fuck off back to /v/. Friendo. :^)

Gaymen RAM is the only thing that has decent timings and bandwidth. Generic RAM is demonstratively inferior.
