>barely any tablets with full-sized USB ports
What the fuck is this shit? It's almost like manufacturers DON'T want my fucking money. Fucking CHRIST, I could get a shitty 5-year-old netbook with more features.
>>53268245
>2016
>still wanting to use usb drives on tablets
That's because tablets are for children and old people who don't need usb ports.
>OP is either too stupid or too poor to buy a $20 micro-USB-to-full-USB adapter
>>53268245
this is half the reason I want a surface pro

2-1 tablets have them.
Why do you want them?
>>53268618
>syncing phones, PMPs, and other devices
>HIDs
>flash drives
>>53268245
Tablets are fucking pointless
>>53268663
No you're just too stupid to find a purpose.
>full-sized USB
>strongly implying that USB type-C won't be standard on all tablets within one year
>>53268618
They were trying to grab his prize.

Dumb mouthposter
>>53268245
You're a poorfag and nobody wants your money.
>>53268245
thats because youre not buying god tier chinese tablets.
My tablet came with a micro usb to usb adapter
>>53268674
Because they have no purpose, anything done by a tablet can be done better with a laptop.
>>53268834

But you can fit a fucking tablet?
>>53268942
I used to EDC one in my front pocket till I got my UMPC
>>53268977

>>53268245
>>barely any tablets with full-sized USB ports
That's because I'd rather use a normal-thickness tablet that only has room for a micro USB port, than use a massively thick tablet that has room for a full-size USB port (if they even exist).
Don't you know the history of this?
1: USB-A becomes popular about 18 years ago. At that time, the idea of ultra-thin mobile devices was just a dream -- they never imagined it was just a few years in the future.
2: They designed micro USB once smartphones started getting popular about 10 years ago and it was clear that it was going to be a race to see how thin they could make them.

My shield tablet fits in my front pocket if I'm wearing basketball shorts. Otherwise it fits in my hoodie pocket.

Monster Cable makes adapters now?

You're THIS retarded
>>53269063

Confirmed for not owning an UMPC back then
>They designed micro USB once smartphones started getting popular about 10 years
More like 6 years ago, before that we had the superior miniusb
I just got an ASUS X205TA and it weighs about as much as a comparable tablet + bluetooth keyboard combo would, plus it has full sized USB ports. As a bonus, the screen isn't complete eye cancer like is usual for these low cost netbooks.

im not a tablet user but why wouldnt you want to connect a mouse etc?

>bad
>>53269954
My tablet has a 300 PPI IPS screen. 135PPI is terrible.
>>53269979
I don't care if you've gone overkill, 135PPI is fine. Hell my monitor is like 96 or something.
>>53270078
You can stare at a shit screen all day long but please don't imply that you aren't getting eye cancer from it.
>>53270082
Whatever you say anon. >200ppi is overkill on mobile devices

No charge for them, I suppose?

but it's still a tablet I swear
>>53269199
Is it good?
Im planning to get one for college but its pretty much the same than lenovo 100s but $40 more expensive.
>>53270384
>implying a tablet with x86 CPU and USB A would not be a tablet
Fuck there isn't even an excuse to not have them when some tablets are thick enough. I was going to mod my Venue 8 Pro to have a fullsize USB port before it broke
Chuwi Hi10. Your welcum
>>53270082
Laptop/desktop screen DPI are not comparable to phone/tablet screens because you won't be holding them right up to your face (unless you're nerdraging at CS:GO or something).
