Friendly reminder that this 6 years old torrent client blows away all the other clients, and it's still widely used around the world.
How's your stalling libcrap client working for you ?
>>
>>53061096
Blows in what way?
The only thing superior in uTorrent is clean UI.
>>
I can push 50Mbps of constant torrent traffic with Deluge in daemon+webui mode on Debian. I had to start throttling my own traffic because of the bandwidth overage bills from the colocation provider.

Using outdated software is a security risk

I've been using it for 3 years now, everything's still smooth.
Being paranoid while using a computer connected to the internet would only blow your brain up.

I use Transmission cause it's simple and just works.

I have a VDSL connection and use wifi anyways, I wouldn't go fatser than 1.8MB/s anywayss.
>>
>>53061606
Most uTorrent users don't give a fuck about torrenting and they use it because "it just werks". Do you think they're gonna bother with private trackers

I can do 130Mbit with uTorrent 2.2.1 and 1700 torrents running at once. No other torrent program has been able to do that. I throttle it it 100Mbit so I can play online games at the same time though.

Oh, and this is with forced encryption. None of the data I send or receive can be seen by anyone but the other clients.

I'm sure those 1787 inactive torrents are a real drain on your system. Forced encryption is a joke as well.
>>
>>53061727
All magnet links that appear come in the form of a popup that requires me to click Launch. I don't approve any random ones.

Just because you haven't set your browser to auto accept magnet links doesn't mean it's not capable of launching malicious links without your knowledge.

Explain how forced encryption is a joke. Do ISPs decrypt data as you send it?
>>
>>53061795
It's only meant to obfuscate you sending torrent data, which it does a really poor job at to anyone capable of seeing what your usage stats are.

It was meant as a way to bypass ISPs throttling torrent traffic, not to hide what you're doing.
>>
>>53061795
it's there only to obfuscate the protocol used, in case your isp is a homo and throttles bittorrent traffic

Deluge on Wangblows is beyond terrible as it always force rechecks my files when I boot it up.

So I use Transmission

I choose qbitorrent because of this.

I wish it had an auto stop seeding function that isn't "stop seeding at ratio" bullshit.

But the devs insist sharing is caring.
