Guys, I need to get a new router. My current belkin has a very bugged 5ghz channel and just won't connect or connects with no internet all the time.
My needs are modest. I need it to go about 75 feet max on it's 2.4ghz. I need it to be reliable. AC would be nice but not totally necessary. I need it to be able to handel 100mbps which is the max my internet connection can go. I need it to reliably connect to 8 devices max. An I need it to be under 150 dollars.
I definitely don't need any fancy setting or custom firmware. My network is modest. The craziest thing I do is have all my computers on a home group and sometimes need port forwarding for a few games.

I have a GIF I want to convert to a webm to use on a website. The problem is that I want the background of the webm to be transparent. Since to my knowledge webm doesn't support transparency, I figured that I could just make the video's background the same color as my site's background. Then I tried to edit the GIF's background, and I realized that GIF as a format doesn't support the color I need. Editing the background after I've converted the GIF to a webm seems to be pretty difficult as well.

I'm trying to install Citrix Receiver on a new PC. When the installation has finished, after I restart the computer I can't boot into windows and I get a black screen.
I then have to reinstall Windows to get my PC to work again (repair and restore doesn't work)
What the fuck is going wrong?
Is it because of Skylake? Are monitors are too big (QHD)?
I've tried this 4 times and its pissing me off.

The difference is b points to stack memory while c points to heap memory.
Stack memory seems to start at high address range at your computer while heap begins at low address range

I accidentally connected a graphics card while my computer was turned off but plugged into a wall outlet with the PSU switch turned on. Everything still seems to work fine, but could this cause any damage that isn't immediately apparent? If there is damage from ESD or some other electrical cause, would the computer stop working altogether, or could there just be degraded performance?

120gb can be enough, but not for games. I would go for 250gb they are cheaper nowadays in any case. Go for samsung's. They also give you a utility to clone successfully your hard drive, and it works pretty good. The thing about data if not powered is true but it's for a far longer time, like one year.

What can I check to see why W10 lists my ram as 11.9 while I have 12GB? No, it's not the integrated graphics.
I have read that wifi has issues of its own when playing games.
Using powerline I get 5.5MB/s, wifi gets me 6.5MB/s and same kind of upload of 0.4.

Is it possible at all to use a router (or big ass outdoor AP in my case) as a simple adapter?
I can make bridge connections and whatnot if i know the address, but i'd like to use it as antenna. Connected to laptop or pc via cat5, allowing me to search for nearby wireless networks from os level.
Of course i can take out the antenna bit and run it's cable straight to wireless adapter in my machine but i think that's not the brightest solution.
