Headphone stands are technology.

Post yours, preferably DIY ones.
>>

Headphone stands are technology in the same way your your Dildo is clothing.

I hammered a nail in my bookshelf to hang the headphones pouches.
>>
You literally pay money to buy this?

I'm pretty rich and I wouldn't buy one of these. Op pic looks nice, but I'm cheap and married with kids so I don't need to impress anyone.
>>
>>52649669
How many kids did you marry?
>>
I use a banana stand.
>>
>>52647212
I hang mine on the drawer of my desk with one ear. Is it bad if they're hanging on the side? I consider most headphones too tight anyway.
>>
>>52649757
Your mom isn't too tight.
>>
Back of my BemQ has one but screw reaching back there every time.
>>
>>52649772
Yeah, I wrecked her good.

Mine is just a 50cm ruler stuck under my amp with some plastic thingy in the hole to prevent the headphones to slip
>>
There's always money in a banana stand

You don't need a general for every fucking subject. Generals kill boards. Relax with them.

Made this with 4 binder clips.

Is it safe to put headphones on a life size bust or a similar sphere?
>>
>>52648189
I did this with a screw for my headphones on the hutch of my desk. The desk real estate that the stands take up just isn't worth it. Creates clutter. Completely unnecessary. When the headphones are hanging you can't even see the screw.

+Easy to hang & remove
+Really nice looking
-Doesn't block the ear cups
>Omega Sieveking / chinkshit copy
+headphone sit securely on it
+ear cups are blocked from spiders and other scary shit
-not as easy to hang & remove. You need both hands.

Pic is omega.

designs like this are stupid. they strain the headband, put pressure on the earpads, and they don't air out. hanging them up is the only acceptable method of doing it.

I didn't want my headphones on a stand taking room on my desk nor having them stick out from the edge of my table like >>52650613 >>52651194 >>52651314

So I took some copper tube, bent it the way I wanted, put some black camera tape on it and screwed it under my desk.
Cheap, easy, doesn't take up any space and looks good enough since you don't really see it under the desk. Not the copper part at least
>>
>>52652487
>they strain the headband
no
>put pressure on the earpads
only if the headphone has a strong clamping force
> they don't air out
i dont see the problem with this

>hanging them up is the only acceptable method of doing it
now that strain the headband
>>
>>52651104
How did you get them to hang sideways like that?

this >>52651194 can be turned 90° so it fits on a table leg. It's actually meant for microphone stands but is pretty universal.

The Bluelounge stand.

I think I got it on sale for $15. I have zero complaints, it's all metal aside from the very top where the headband rests which is rubber.
>>
>>52653084
Literally rotated correctly on my computer, why did it come out sideways.

and yes it's completely safe. It's supported on all sides except the front.
I weigh around 70kg and could comfortably sit on it without doing any harm

anon's panels are there to avoid sound reflections, not for sounproofing

>>52653413
Sound proofing is very different to acoustic treatment. This doesn't isolate noise or soundproof, just improves acoustics, like >>52653480
kindly pointed out

Anyone know where I can get a cheap Omega headphone stand knockoff? The ones on Amazon are $30 and that seems quite a lot for a piece of bent plywood.

My Astro A50 came with one in the box, works well enough.
Too lazy to google a pic, do it yourselves and pretend I posted it myself.
