The 810 is an anomalously bad chip, the Krait chips before it (800, 801, 805) were solid, the 810 was a rushed ARMv8 chip. The 820 is another in-house Qualcomm architecture like the Krait chips so it's going to be good again. It's definitely worth waiting, since 820 phones are within 2 months of release.
820 also allows ultrasonic fingerprint scanning (fingerprint scanning through the display) which is a huge bonus.

Eh, this one's debatable. IMO, 5.2" is still a little unwieldly for the typical hand size, while also being too small for any appreciable movie watching experience, which really requires at least a 5.7" phone (even my 5.5" phone doesn't feel too good for movies).
