now using a 2015 moto X pure (5.7) and its just too big, doesnt seem like a huge difference but it is

5" is the absolute maximum size for one-handed use and 4.7" (or 4.5 for those with smaller hands) is perfect. and no, just because you can hold it doesn't mean you can comfortably use it.
