Just in case you want a PC to play games on and then carry to lectures/work or w/e, it costs the same to build a desktop and buy a small laptop on the side, so you get good portability (unlike a huge gaming laptop) and a more suitable machine for gaming with your desktop.
Unless you want gaming on the go, then yeah, msi makes good laptops for that.
