Physical backup to a HDD. I also make a backup of all my pictures, docs, etc to my SSD once a week.
Considered a cloud solution but I prefer the local nature of the setup I have going on.

can you give me a basic overview of how you have that set up? im presuming its set to overwrite older files and skip backing up any files that havent been changed since the last back up.

All client computers synchronize the work folders to the Server, the server makes a backup to a local RAID 1 NAS, which then makes a versioning backup to a remote RAID 1 NAS.
This chain uses 3 different protocols, and no windows file sharing.
