When I was young I made all my "programs" in spreadsheets.
Then I moved on to assembly, then c++, then c then vhdl.
First introduction to programming is not that important.
Back then I didn't know better.
Now almost everything I do is being scripted so it is easier next time.

I started with VB6, then went to ASM, still miss VB6 desu, had really nice experiences with it. Honestly zero complaints, to this day probably the best fucking language and IDE.

My first language was Spectrum Basic, does that mean I could never become a better programmer? My second language was AMOS, then Blitz where I learned structs, then C then C++ the C#, I now use javascript professionally and it's fine for what it's worth. What's wrong with any language for starting out. If you have the interest your on the right path.
