How is it? Do only relay on f-droid and downloading the apks of apps you need?
It pisses me off that to be able to download stuff of the google playstore i need a fucking account.

I don't have google. I download my apps from f-droid, aptiode or raccoon (desktop, you still need an account). Apptrack to check whether updates are available.
There's apps that won't run if you don't have Play Services, but I think there's a way around it.
Anyway I'm too lazy, I just use a throwaway account.

It really helps if you're rooted to prevent some apps from not working if you don't have Google play services, other than that everything else you may need can be downloaded through f droid, aptoide or blackmart.
