Well, I'm pretty sure you could sell it to someone that's going to sli 970s when pascal comes out, it'll be easier to find a buyer then. I'm using the exact same card (strix 970). I'm going to wait until amd releases their new cards, that way I'll have more choice, and nvidia will probably drop their prices.

Personally, if I were buying a 2nd hand GTX 970 I wouldn't pay more than $200 at most. I paid $200 for my R9 290 over a year ago used and I can't imagine spending more than that for an equivalent card.

Maybe you'd have more luck on ebay but it'd be a crapshoot. I doubt you'd get your 75% when Maxwell is just around the corner and a buyer would have no way of knowing how hard your OCed it or how old it really is.

Keep the card unless you really want to take a break. The card will only lose a couple of dollars in resale value.

i never understand why people 'wait' to buy a video card. unless new series are going to be released within a month.

what are you going to do for half a year until pascal comes out and u have no 970? play on integreated gfx? may as well cut ur eyes off and throw them in a blender and make a custom loop for your i5 and use the blended eye balls as the liquid coolant
