It still shows up. It's not as if it works for every website.

I just went there now.

Update your list then you cuck.

If that fails, link please, I'm interested.

That message's selector is
###header > .adblocker.toast.block > .block-content
it's like they're not even trying
I wonder why the word 'adblock' isn't in the default filter list
>>
I installed umatrix and have been adblock free since.

To access forbes, all I did was enable scripts from i.forbesimg.com as it was blocked by default.
>>
>>52213287

it redirects you the that same page again you mong
>>
People that use an ad-blocker will simply not use that site.

They aren't gaining any more ad revenue and loosing traffic.

are they dumb?
>>
>>52213399
Not the guy you're replying to but with the updated filter list and greasemonkey script Anti adblock killer isn't working for me anymore.

>>

and then the site adds a div to the top of the page breaking every single one of your filters
>>
>>52213670
I have no ads / anti-adblocker messages on that link and I'm not even using greasemonkey.
>>
>>52213724
I don't get any messages, but while the continue button worked with uBlock origin enabled three days ago, the continue button no longer works.

Alright here's how to do it OP. Block everything temporarily that is not forbes.com and forbesimg.com.

I use ublock and I block by default 3rd party scripts and frames.

OP Seems to be using an inferior adblocker. I get neither that message in the welcome screen, nor banner placeholders with an intimidating message. µBlock Origin with the custom filters: "Adblock Warning Removal List" and "Anti-Adblock Killer".
>>
>>52213670
>greasemonkey
No. Use ublock origin, go to the list of optional filters/lists, and find the anti-adblock-killer one and enable it.

This is why adblock will always win.

Forbes probably spent a few thousand dollars of man hours in dev and qa hours for some anti-adblock code that only existed for maybe an hour before it was blocked again.

I doubt they'll try that again.

you probably want ublock origin. though its shit a blocking ads you can definitely hide it. That's what ublock excels at.

lemme ask you something would you rather wipe your ass with a company that makes toilet paper or a company that makes sandpaper. im pretty sure ghostery is developed by an ad company but that makes it so much better. the company knows how to track which means they can also come up with ways to untrack. a lot of people would shy away from ghostery but that shouldnt be the case. they should be shying away from these nobodies that make "open-source" products with absolutely no experience. i highly recommend ghostery.

Why not just use a script blocker? Are you that autistically offended by ads that you simply never want to see them, even those ads that are just static images?

there's no reason to not block the forbes site and just forget about it.
