well they did give out dividends, but $1.50 per share is quite a joke considering their stock is worth $100+ dollars.
Literally you have to own about $100,000 worth of Apple stock to see any meaningful returns.

AAPL has already grown astronomically, it is (by far) the most valuable public company in the world, at this point growing any further would need them to become even more dominant in China as there is nowhere else to go, all the rich countries in the world are already in love with the iPhone.

Apple only started paying dividends in 2012, and it had the highest yield of any stock in the world at the time.
The problem is the stock price has increased so much since then, the dividends haven't grown as rapidly to match the stock's performance.

my first "smartphone" was a treo. i could use my thumb/nail for basic input or stylus for more precision
i had palm pilots for years. i think i can still do graffiti input faster than typing on a virtual keyboard with my thumbs. especially for non-alphabet characters - numbers, punctuation, programming symbols.
there are plenty of apps on my phone that i would be much much much happier with if i had a stylus for precise input, but thanks to the trendsetting regression of eye-devices, no major phone (except for the note) has one.

I have literally no idea what kind of screen this apple meme shit uses but I doubt it's like the ones used in old style pdas (palm, winows mobile). If anything I would guess it's more of wacom style tablet on top of screen, like with actual laptop tablets.
