You might want a USB or a CD to do that... But do you know what you are installing? Great to have someone installing Linux for the first time and everyone can do it. But you need to read the instructions carefully and you need to take backup of all your files first in case you mess up or something happens during install. You can dual boot it so that you either choose Windows or Linux when you start it. I assume that is what you want. In that case read the instructions on the Ubuntu page.
It is fairly simple, but it's still something you need to prepare for first by saving the files you want on a USB or something, just in case. And you need a USB or something else that Ubuntu can boot from.
