Anybody have any recommendations for something in mid/high-end range? Was thinking Bose, but really don't know shit.

I got a "Bolse 12W NFC", nothing fancy, does the job, cheap as chips.

Imo, you're better off with using a 3.5 mm cable if you care about sound quality at all.

this little shit from huawei is actually fucking amazing
the sound is clear as fuck has decent bass and it actually sounds like a normal speaker, has volume too
altec mini jacket or something. apparently already discontinued. sold by khol's.
bass is SO overpowered. drowns everything else out. lowest volume is still pretty loud.
speaks what it is doing, ie "you are now paired, enjoy"
regret it a lot but it's still nice on a soap dish in the shower. lasts quite a while

In terms of Bluetooth speakers.
I've only acknowledged UE Boom, Sony, and Boss are worth paying for.
The rest just get loud while sacrificing sound quality.
But these are Bluetooth. They sound somewhat decent.
OP, this is worth every penny for $20. The Chinese has it down pat.
