had 3 HP computers
>one mid range laptop from 2008
>one high end laptop from 2010
>one high end desktop from 2005
all three had to be repaired at least one time, I bought more ram for the 2010 laptop and the desktop. the laptop works better, maybe an ssd would give it a boost. the desktop died completely for unknown reasons a few weeks ago. anyway, the trackpad on the laptops is absolute. the build quality isn't good either: in 6 years I have travelled 3 or 4 times with my laptop, most of the time it stayed on a table and yet there is plastic paint or whatever it is coming off. I don't know how high end hp laptops are now, but I would never buy hp ever again. (also they came bloated as fuck)
